I was just reading Target Callers Blog about the new Command Destroyers http://targetcaller.blogspot.com/2015/11/pontifex-stork-magus-bifrost.html#comment-form
From this point forward to be known as "CoDestro(s)"
And some crazy things popped in my head .. first I'm really curious what the range of these mobile micro jump units are? also what is the spool up time?
Ganking, anti-ganking, and gate camping could all be greatly affected if they operate how I imagine they do. Imagine your in your *insert ship name here* and you drop on a gate bout to leave system when a well timed spool up sends you off 100km away from your gate in the direction you were travelling from right into a nest of scramming, webbing, beasts of war. Bad Day.
Imagine your flying your trying to gank that juicy freighter that your bumping off his warp trajectory and your catalyst buddies finally arrive and just before you open fire to alpha this guy into loot land, the white knight in his CoDestro unleashes his 100km scatter grenade of doom off flys the freighter as your bumper rushes to rebump him.
And last but not least the reason I'm curious about range .. how close do you have to be to micro jump someones ship out of their POS? that would suck eh? Kamikaze CoDestro pilot warped my *insert expensive named ship here* out of my POS and now it's a killmail .. f'my life
And a great strat I could imagine being used in warfare would be have a sniper gang and just "fling" all those pesky scram, brawling, soon to be dead boats out 100km and watch them try re-approaching as you and your arties blast them to smithereens.
Keep a cloaky CoDestro on hand in case things get bad and the Blops lands .. bam everyone is nice and scattered and well on their way to someplace warm and safe . sorry Blops not today!
Just some thoughts .. the range of the effect and spool up time could be a big deal to come. More interesting uses to come I'm sure .. oh what about jump freighters just before they dock up on station .. ohhh that sounds nefarious.
Thanks for giving me something fun to right about today Target Caller. sorry for commenting three times in a row like a spaz lol

Inaugural Post
This blog is being setup so that I can chronicle my journey through eve. Well my return to my journey would be more accurate. My two accounts are actually fairly old as I have tried, failed, and returned to Eve several times over the years. But this time I feel will be different. This time I will persevere because this time I have vision. What is that vision? To become a part of the culture, my virtual characters are hopefully to become integral in things that are happening in our vast virtual world of space and sovereignty. Or at least that's the plan lol.
I am not a writer, so I am going to take this time to apologize to anyone who finds my writings to be abhorrent or grammatically painful. I do not have an editor besides my friend Google Docs, hopefully he/she will help me to keep it at least somewhat acceptable to those with a more refined literary palette.
------------
My return to EvE this time was after almost two full years away. It felt like I was waking from a very long hibernation. As if somehow I'd been in some kind of stasis and was crawling out of some sort of biological structure meant to keep me alive but insensate. And as I logged in my eyes were opening to both scenes I immediately recognized but also noticing small changes, things that didn't bring any recollections of what I was before.
This was just over a month ago, and let me just say things have changed but only mechanically, the feeling is still the same, I still log on and feel my mind start to tingle and a small smile turns up the edge of my lips as I watch our virtual world bring itself online there before me. That same sense of anticipation I always get when I watch it all boot up and my eyes quickly glance down to see if that skill has finished cooking (even though I it hasn't it still has two days left, I know this.). This is the kind of emotional attachment that keeps bringing me back. I wonder if that is the same reason others return time and again, the game hasn't really changed that drastically over the years yet I constantly see people on the corporation recruitment forums announcing they are returned after long episodes away seeking corp's to join. I must not be the only one... there are others out there just like me.
It has taken me this last month to get my bearings, get my feet under me so to speak. I had to get a handle around why I bought a 12 mil sp manufacturing/science/research char just before I left last time. What was my plan, how did I hope to use this alt to improve my online stable of characters? It seems that I had delusions of mass production and earning zillions of iskies somehow.
I will note that he has max slots for both science and manufacturing so he is pretty useful, just missing a few individual skills needed to make some particular ship types etc. First thing I did was get him invited to an industry type corp with a base in Hi-sec that has tons of BPO's they were nice enough to give me access to for copying purposes, very very handy for me. Even after a month I'm still coming to grips with this alt and how to make him truly useful, generally he just pops a few T1 BPO's in the oven for copies, or BPC's for invention to play the RNG game for T2's. He really hasn't manufactured much as my miner alt on my second account isn't really very good at mining yet, need to work on him some, perhaps a multi-character training cert in the future.
